Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Sydney to lead delivery of complex construction and property projects. You will manage from planning through handover, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and quality while guiding diverse client portfolios.

This senior, client-facing role requires strong commercial judgment, technical delivery expertise and the ability to work independently while coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years' project management experience in construction, property or built‑environment.
• Experience delivering a diverse range of complex projects across sectors.
• Strong construction knowledge and end‑to‑end delivery capability.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting and financial controls.
• Experience leading consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through full lifecycle: planning, design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Establish and manage scopes, programs, budgets, risk registers and delivery strategies.
• Lead client and stakeholder meetings with clear updates and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain master budgets, timelines, forecasts and financial reports.
• Oversee consultants, contractors and suppliers from selection to performance.
• Review project docs, drawings, progress claims, variations and invoices.
• Identify risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, safety, governance and quality standards.
• Prepare detailed reports for clients and senior leadership.
• Build trusted client relationships and contribute to service development.
• Provide leadership and support to project teams.
