Legal - Professional in Brisbane is seeking a lawyer with 4-6 years PQE to own a diverse disputes and construction-late caseload, working directly with the principal. You will handle contracts, disputes, and litigation, developing strategies and taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years PQE in litigation and disputes.
• Construction law or construction disputes experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong analytical, drafting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take ownership of matters in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and progress a varied caseload of construction disputes and litigation.
• Advise clients on construction contracts, contractual disputes and related issues.
• Draft pleadings, submissions and other court documents.
• Develop strategies to resolve disputes and advise clients on options.
• Work with the principal on active matters and take ownership of your work.
• Prepare matters for court proceedings and assist with litigation strategy.
• Maintain progress across multiple matters with competing priorities.
• Build expertise across construction law, disputes and litigation.
