Job summary

The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) invites applications for a Senior Coordinator, Conservation to oversee processes, systems and projects that preserve the NGV Collection. You will work with the Associate Director, Conservation to develop conservation practices spanning storage, transport, display and collection management.

You will support diary management, budget planning and written submissions for annual reports and fundraising, while collaborating across teams to meet conservation

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification with experience in project, administrative and operational support.

Responsibilities

• Manage diary management, meeting agendas and papers, project and budget planning and financial reconciliation.
• Collaborate across teams to support conservation requirements for displays, exhibitions, acquisitions, loans and collection management projects.
• Prepare high-quality written materials and submissions for annual report and Creative Victoria, Director’s and Trustees papers and fundraising reports.
• Produce outputs that raise awareness of the Conservation team’s work across presentations, NGV Magazine, social media and learning initiatives.
