Job summary

Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort and Sunshine Coast Convention Centre seeks an organized events professional to manage end-to-end conferences, events, and group experiences on Australia's Sunshine Coast. You will coordinate handovers, build client relationships and ensure seamless event delivery from start to finish.

Ideal candidates have experience in conference and events coordination, strong client service skills, and proficiency with event management systems such as Delphi FDC.

Responsibilities

As part of the globally recognised Accor network, you'll have the opportunity to grow your events career while working alongside a passionate and supportive team., Reporting to the Conference & Events Sales Manager, you will play a key role in bringing events to life across Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort and the Sunshine Coast Convention Centre. From the initial handover through to event completion, you will coordinate the details, build strong client relationships and ensure every event is delivered seamlessly.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of conferences, events, sporting groups and exclusive-use events.
• Prepare accurate Banquet Event Orders and coordinate requirements across clients and operational teams.
• Lead planning meetings, site inspections and pre-event briefings.
• Maintain strong client communication throughout the event lifecycle.
• Manage event billing including payments, final invoicing, commissions and loyalty points.
• Maintain accurate event data and documentation using Delphi FDC.
• Work towards key department KPIs including client satisfaction and event delivery standards.
