Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services is looking for a Senior Asset Condition Assessment Officer to manage the condition assessment program at the Gold Coast Desalination Plant. You will coordinate assessments across engineering, maintenance and operations to identify asset risks and drive practical improvements for long-term reliability.

This role combines site-based assessments, planning, technical reporting, contractor coordination and improvement projects on the Gold Coast.

Qualifications

• Experience with safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Strong planning, communication and problem solving skills are essential.
• Experience coordinating asset assessments across engineering, maintenance and operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver the asset condition assessment program.
• Plan, schedule and record assessment activities through the CMMS.
• Coordinate work packages with engineering, maintenance and operations teams.
• Review internal and external assessment reports and challenge findings as needed.
• Identify asset risks and recommend practical engineering and maintenance solutions.
• Develop scopes of work and coordinate specialist contractors.
• Improve condition assessment methods and maintenance management systems.
• Support site electrical and high voltage activities, including annual shutdown maintenance.

Veolia is looking for a Senior Asset Condition Assessment Officer to manage the condition assessment program at the Gold Coast Desalination Plant. Working across engineering, maintenance and operations, you’ll identify asset risks, coordinate assessments and help shape decisions that support the plant’s long term reliability.

This is a varied role combining site based assessments, planning, technical reporting, contractor coordination and improvement projects.
