Job summary

CommSec Senior Manager Compliance role sits within the Governance and Framework Team, providing exposure to enterprise-wide regulatory change initiatives and stakeholder engagement across the Group.

You will lead identification and monitoring of regulatory change, craft governance reporting to the CommSec Risk Committee and Board, and support licensing activities and CSAs/RCSAs. This is a senior regulatory leadership position within CommBank's CommSec division.

Qualifications

• Experience in Compliance, Regulatory Change, Risk & Controls, Governance, or Legal and Regulatory Advisory environments.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory change, Compliance Management Frameworks and risk management practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
• A proactive and collaborative approach with the ability to understand complex issues and deliver practical outcomes.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, Law or Risk Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, assessment and monitoring of regulatory change initiatives impacting CommSec across implementation.
• Monitor and deliver insights on regulatory developments through CRO reporting and governance forums.
• Contribute to high-quality Line 2 Risk governance reporting to the CommSec Risk Committee and Board.
• Provide compliance advisory support to the Chief Controls Office, including licensing activities, CSAs and RCSAs.
• Support compliance activities including Line 2 monitoring and assurance reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement across regulatory change processes and practices.
