Beyond Bank is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to lead our risk and compliance program. You will provide expert regulatory guidance, oversee incidents and breaches, and drive regulatory change across a dynamic financial services environment. You will partner with senior leaders to safeguard members and ensure ongoing compliance.

The role leads a team of compliance professionals, with a focus on strengthening our compliance culture, governance, and reporting to regulators and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in financial services compliance, regulatory advisory or risk
• Strong understanding of the Australian banking regulatory environment
• Proven ability to interpret complex legislation and translate into practical business advice
• Strong stakeholder management skills to influence senior leaders and regulators
• Experience leading regulatory change initiatives, governance programs or compliance frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication; coaching and developing teams

Responsibilities

• Provide expert compliance advice and regulatory guidance to bank leaders
• Lead the Compliance Advisory team and mature the Bank's Compliance Framework
• Drive assessment and implementation of regulatory change to maintain compliance
• Oversee management of compliance incidents and breaches, investigations and remediation
• Influence business initiatives with regulatory insight and risk-based advice
• Represent the Bank with regulators and governance bodies to foster positive outcomes
