Job summary

Simply Marvelous Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager – CRICOS & RTO to lead compliance operations within an established Australian CRICOS provider. Reporting to senior management, the role focuses on regulatory excellence, risk monitoring, and leadership of a small compliance team.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience with ESOS Act, National Code, RTO Standards 2025, and PRISMS reporting to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance and governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a compliance management role within a medium to large Australian CRICOS provider.
• Deep knowledge of ESOS Act, National Code, and the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2025.
• Extensive experience using PRISMS.
• Strong understanding of current Australian student visa requirements and migration policy affecting international students.
• Experience liaising with regulators and preparing responses to compliance enquiries, audits, and regulatory requests.
• Experience leading or supervising a small team.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Extensive experience interpreting assessment requirements for nationally recognised training and developing mappings to support assessment tool development.

OVERVIEW Simply Marvelous Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager – CRICOS & RTO to lead compliance operations within an established Australian CRICOS provider. Reporting directly to senior management, the role focuses on regulatory excellence, risk monitoring, continuous improvement, and leadership of a small compliance team. The position requires extensive experience with Australian international education compliance frameworks, including the ESOS Act, National Code, RTO Standards 2025, and PRISMS reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with the ESOS Act, National Code, RTO Standards 2025, and associated legislation
• Manage PRISMS reporting and ensure all regulatory reporting obligations are completed accurately and on time
• Oversee student compliance, attendance, course progress, and intervention

Requirements

• Coordinate internal compliance monitoring, quality assurance, and continuous improvement activities
• Develop and maintain accurate and complete trainer profiles
• Oversee the development, purchase, and customisation of assessment tools
• Prepare professional responses to requests from regulators, including ASQA and the Department of Education
• Provide practical compliance advice and guidance to management
• Lead, mentor, and support a small compliance team
• Ensure compliance policies and procedures remain current and are consistently implemented across the organisation

Requirements
