Job summary

Zurich Australia is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to lead the Enablement, Insight & Automation workstream within the Compliance function. You will shape reporting, analytics and automation to support governance across Board, Group, Regional and Local stakeholders.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance Operations & Capability, you will build capability, drive data-driven decision making, and deliver an automation roadmap aligned with Group priorities in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience within financial services or insurance.
• Proven experience leading reporting, automation, analytics or data-driven governance initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of compliance functions, governance frameworks and risk management.
• Advanced capability in data analytics, dashboarding and automation tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive and Board-level reporting.
• Experience coaching others and building capability in continuous improvement, data literacy or automation.

Senior Compliance Manager– 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

As our Senior Compliance Manager – Enablement, Insight & Automation, you’ll help shape a scalable, insight-led compliance operating model. Reporting to the Head of Compliance Operations & Capability, you’ll lead the evolution of reporting, data analytics and automation across the Compliance function.

Your work will turn complex data into clear insights, strengthen governance and improve how compliance activities are delivered. You’ll also build capability across the team, helping people use better tools, standards and data to make informed decisions.

You will also be responsible for the following:

• Lead the development of compliance reporting for Board, Group, Regional and Local stakeholders


• Design dashboards and automated reporting solutions that identify emerging risks and improve decision-making


• Shape and deliver the local Compliance automation roadmap in line with Group and Regional priorities


• Lead the design and governance of automated controls, workflows and reporting solutions

To be successful, you will have the following:
