Stake Australia is seeking a Senior AML/CTF Compliance Manager to lead the growth and maturation of our AML/CTF program within the Risk & Compliance team in Sydney. The role is hands-on yet strategic, ensuring robust controls across the business and guiding automation and AI use to improve efficiency while maintaining governance.

Qualifications

• Led AML/CTF or broader financial crime programs within financial services or fintech and enjoy building as much as maintaining.
• You're comfortable operating as a strategic advisor while staying close to the detail when it matters.
• You know how to balance strong risk management with commercial thinking, helping teams move quickly without losing sight of customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve Stake's AML/CTF program to be scalable across Australia and NZ.
• Lead regulatory change responses by translating obligations into practical improvements.
• Embed strong controls with Product, Technology, Operations and senior leadership.
