Job summary

Complete Staff Solutions is seeking Senior Compliance & Investigations Officers (APS6) for our Federal Government client in Canberra. You will join a supportive team, with limited direction and autonomy where appropriate.

Responsibilities include applying a risk-based approach to investigations, reviewing funding procedures, preparing briefs, and guiding junior staff. A strong background in financial audits, compliance, and stakeholder collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial audits or assurance activities.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Willingness to support reform and guidance to junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Apply a risk-based approach to investigations into potential anti-avoidance schemes.
• Use data and intelligence tools to identify high-risk behaviours and schemes.
• Prepare briefs, reports and correspondence for decision-makers.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff as required.
• Oversee and coordinate financial disclosure reviews and funding procedures.
