Job summary

Marsh Pacific is seeking a Compliance Manager to join the Line 2 Risk and Compliance team. Based in Sydney or Melbourne, this hybrid role requires minimum three days in the office weekly and offers visibility across senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate will strengthen Marsh Pacific’s compliance culture, advise on regulatory matters, and contribute to policies and frameworks across insurance broking and investments.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, legal or regulatory roles within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory obligations to insurance broking.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to provide practical and strategic advice to senior stakeholders and Board audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance advisory support across insurance broking, investments, and other regulatory matters to stakeholders across Marsh.
• Support the development and improvement of compliance frameworks, policies and processes that help manage compliance risk.
• Undertake Line 2 obligations management activities, including maintaining the obligations library for Marsh.
• Establish and support monitoring activities that assess compliance with organisational policies and regulatory obligations and identify opportunities to improve controls and practices.
• Manage and help maintain appropriate financial services licences and authorisations for Marsh Pacific entities.
• Support compliance activities in line with licensing requirements including conflicts management activities, compliance plan reviews and monitoring, training development and implementation.
• Support and guide our Line 1 colleagues, business partners and our broader risk and compliance colleagues.
