Job summary

Marsh is seeking a compliance professional for the Line 2 Risk and Compliance team, based in Melbourne or Sydney. This hybrid role requires three days in the office each week to support the regulatory compliance program and uplift initiatives within Mercer Super.

The role supports the Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance, delivering practical compliance input, framing obligations, and reporting across the business to ensure risk-aware outcomes for members, colleagues and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in a compliance, risk or legal support role within financial services.
• Understanding governance, risk and compliance practices within a regulated environment.
• Ability to assess regulatory obligations and provide practical advice to stakeholders.
• Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance in delivering compliance activities and framework uplift across Mercer Super.
• Maintain the Compliance Management Framework and related compliance policies.
• Provide compliance advice, review and challenge to the Line 1 Risk & Controls team and business stakeholders.
• Assist with obligations management, conflicts management and regulatory change activities.
• Complete due diligence reviews of externally facing regulated documents and contribute to internal and external reporting.
• Build effective relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively across Mercer Super and the Marsh Pacific compliance function.

Education

Tertiary qualifications in law or a business-related discipline
