Job summary

ACCIONA ENERGY in Queensland is seeking a Senior Communications Advisor to lead engagement with stakeholders across the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project and related communities. You will develop messaging, prepare notices, and support media activities.

Reporting to the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Manager, you will manage enquiries, coordinate information sessions, maintain the Open Point database, and contribute to internal and corporate communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR or Journalism required.
• Experience in stakeholder or community engagement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Certificate in Engagement (IAP2) highly regarded.
• Confident managing sensitive or complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholder enquiries and complaints.
• Prepare works notifications, fact sheets and newsletters.
• Maintain the Open Point stakeholder database.
• Support Community Information Sessions and Reference Groups.
• Assist with stakeholder management reporting.
• Develop high-level messaging for media and hot issues.
• Prepare internal updates and corporate communications.
