Job summary

The Ministry of Health is seeking a Senior Communications Officer to join the People and Corporate Communication team in NSW. You will deliver system-wide communications and manage workforce campaigns to support NSW Health strategies.

You'll build relationships with stakeholders, provide strategic communications advice, and help develop and deliver campaigns across the NSW Health system. Flexible work arrangements are available and the role is located in St Leonards NSW.

About the role

The Senior Communications Officer works within the People and Corporate Communication team. The team provides strategic communications advice and delivers system wide communications. A large part of the role is campaign management for workforce and recruitment campaigns. Reaching across all of NSW Health, the team forms part of the Strategic Communications and Engagement branch. We drive engagement, recognise achievements, and strategically communicate. We advise on workforce communications, ensuring staff support and attracting skilled individuals. Collaborating with the Ministry, we communicate system-wide initiatives such as health strategies and plans. We navigate diverse projects, engaging stakeholders to bring communication strategies to life.

What you will be doing

• Build relationships with stakeholders in the Ministry and across the system

• Work with teams within Strategic Communications and Engagement to seek advice to develop and delivery communications campaigns
