Qualifications

• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline with strong experience in project commercial management.
• Proven ability to manage commercial, contractual and financial risk across projects.
• Advanced understanding of compliance, legislation and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial strategy, risk management and governance across the Queensland Building business.
• Provide commercial leadership for major tenders, contract reviews and negotiations.
• Identify, assess and mitigate contractual, commercial and financial risks across projects.
• Advise senior leaders on commercial matters and legislative changes.
• Lead management of contractual disputes, adjudications and insurance claims.
• Support delivery teams with contract administration, variations, delays and claims.
• Mentor and develop project commercial teams to raise capability.
• Collaborate with project leaders to improve profitability and performance.
• Coordinate legal support and provide strategic advice to protect business interests.
