Job summary

Gough Recruitment WA is seeking a Senior Commercial Property Manager to take ownership of a diverse commercial portfolio, working client-side for a prominent WA property owner. You will oversee lease administration, performance reporting and strategic property initiatives in a collaborative, well-supported environment.

Reporting to the Chief Property Officer, you will manage industrial, commercial and retail assets, build relationships with tenants, and mentor junior staff while driving

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a commercial property portfolio, including comprehensive lease administration.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to build lasting relationships with tenants and business owners.
• Confidence preparing reports, analysing portfolio performance and contributing to strategic decisions.
• The ability to manage complex documentation, negotiate outcomes and resolve property-related challenges.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
• Strong systems capability, including Microsoft Office and property management platforms.
• Relevant property qualifications and current industry registrations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lease lifecycle, including negotiations, renewals, rent reviews, assignments and subleases.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and tenants, delivering proactive and commercially focused service.
• Identify new leasing opportunities and contribute to tenant mix, occupancy and portfolio optimisation strategies.
• Prepare management reports and provide insights to support executive decision-making.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across property, facilities and other internal functions.
• Manage complex lease documentation, compliance matters and property-related challenges.
• Contribute to financial performance, operational improvements and broader strategic property projects.
• Support and develop junior team members while working closely with the wider property team.

An opportunity to step beyond traditional property management and take ownership of a diverse, established commercial property portfolio, working directly for a significant property owner with a long-standing presence in Western Australia.

This is a unique client-side position offering the chance to influence portfolio performance, build meaningful relationships with business owners and contribute to broader property and asset strategy, all within a well-supported, collaborative environment.

The Opportunity Reporting to the Chief Property Officer, you will take responsibility for a diverse, high-quality portfolio spanning industrial, commercial and retail assets within a major, established property precinct in Perth's southern suburbs.

With a strong tenant base and support from an Assistant Property Manager and an in-house facilities team, you'll have the autonomy to manage your portfolio while working closely with senior leaders to identify opportunities, improve performance and contribute to strategic property initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking ownership of the day-to-day management and performance of a diverse commercial property portfolio.
