Job summary

Asahi Beverages in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of NPD and commercial projects from Gate 0 to launch. You will drive on-time delivery within scope, coordinating with brand, category, supply chain and technical teams.

Reporting to the Head of Innovation Non Alc, you will lead a small team, manage budgets and risks, and ensure milestones are met. You’ll collaborate across regulatory, production and commercial stakeholders to bring products to market.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in product development or project management within food or beverage.
• Strong experience managing end to end NPD or commercial projects.
• Experience working with cross functional teams including supply chain and manufacturing.
• Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes to tight timelines.
• Confident stakeholder management across a range of seniority levels.
• Experience with Stage and Gate or similar project frameworks.
• Ability to turn information into clear updates, actions and next steps.

Responsibilities

• Support innovation and brand teams with execution and implementation of new products.
• Manage project budgets and flag cost risks early.
• Lead and develop a small team, allocating workload and driving accountability.
• Contribute to improving ways of working, tools and processes across the innovation function.

Job description

You'll be part of the Non Alc Innovation team, helping bring new products to life from concept through to launch. You will lead a portfolio of projects across the innovation pipeline, ensuring they move efficiently through the Stage and Gate process and are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to business priorities.
