Job summary

Asahi Beverages is seeking a Communications Manager for Strategic Projects – Supply Chain to shape and sequence change communications across multiple supply chain initiatives. You will translate complex project details into clear messages for leaders, employees and partners, and collaborate with change leads to mitigate risks and drive engagement.

You will craft content, manage channels, and measure impact to ensure messages land with impact and alignment across the organisation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in corporate, internal or change communications.
• Strong sense-making capability: quickly understand complicated information and turn ambiguity into clear communication.
• Experience in tech-related multidimensional transformation projects is a plus.
• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills.

Communications Manager, Strategic Projects - Supply Chain

Join Asahi Beverages as our Communications Manager Strategic Projects – Supply Chain, a role that sits at the centre of some of our most important transformation work. You will help people make sense of change by turning complex, interdependent project information into a clear narrative, then sequencing communications so the right audiences understand what is changing, why it matters, what it means for them and what they need to do. Working closely with project teams, change leaders and Supply Chain stakeholders, you will shape communications that build confidence, support action and keep people engaged through change.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a clear, compelling communication narrative that connects several interdependent Supply Chain projects and helps people understand the bigger picture.
• Translate complex project information, decisions, impacts and dependencies into simple messages tailored to leaders, employees, frontline teams and external partners.
• Sequence communications across project milestones so messages land at the right time, in the right order and with a clear purpose.
• Partner with People Leads, Change Leads, Strategic Project Leads and Supply Chain stakeholders to understand business impacts, audience needs and communication risks.
• Develop communication and engagement plans that support understanding, required action and employee engagement through change.
• Create high-quality content including key messages, leader briefings, presentations, FAQs, intranet articles, stakeholder updates and frontline communication materials.
• Manage communications across internal channels to ensure messaging is consistent, practical and relevant to different audience groups.
• Measure communication effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve clarity, engagement and project outcomes.

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in corporate, internal or change communications.
• A strong sense-making capability: you can quickly understand complicated information, identify what matters, connect related pieces of work and turn ambiguity into a clear communication approach.
• Experience in tech-related multidimensional transformation projects will be a huge benefit.
• Proven ability to build a core narrative and use it to guide sequenced communications across multiple projects, milestones and stakeholder groups.
• Experience supporting transformation programs, strategic projects or organisational change initiatives, ideally in complex operational environments.
• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the judgement to know what to include, what to simplify and what to leave out.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust, ask the right questions and influence outcomes through clear communication.
• Experience working with Supply Chain, manufacturing, logistics or operational teams will be highly regarded.
• A proactive, practical and collaborative style, with a genuine interest in helping people understand and engage with change.
