Job summary

Killard Group is seeking a Commercial Manager for a full-time on-site role based in the Greater Sydney Area. You will oversee commercial activities across delivery, precontracts, contract administration, risk assessment, and financial performance.

You will prepare tender assessments, support business planning, ensure contractual compliance, manage client and stakeholder relationships, and mentor project teams while driving margin and cash flow improvements within the water and infrastructure

Qualifications

• Strong commercial and contract management skills in construction or infrastructure.
• Ability to manage budgets, forecasts and project financials.
• Experience leading and mentoring multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to build client and stakeholder relationships.
• Tertiary qualification in commerce, business, engineering, or construction management.
• Knowledge of Australian construction and water industry standards.
• Advanced Excel and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in infrastructure, utilities, or water projects is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial activities across delivery, precontracts, contract administration, risk assessment and financial performance monitoring.
• Prepare and review tender assessments and support business planning and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships and collaborate with project teams to optimise margins and cash flow.
• Lead and mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement of commercial processes.
