Job summary

TSA Riley in Sydney is expanding its capability to deliver major transport, energy and infrastructure programs across NSW and nationally. We're seeking commercially astute and experienced Commercial Managers to join our organisation with strong delivery-phase expertise to manage complex contracts and drive successful outcomes on high-value programs.

You’ll work client-side, embedded in delivery teams, providing hands-on commercial leadership across procurement, contract administration, claims

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in commercial management and contract administration on major infrastructure projects.
• Delivery-phase contract management and claims resolution experience.
• Proven experience negotiating high-value and complex commercial agreements.
• Experience with PPP, D&C, Alliance, Managing Contractor, and EPCM contract frameworks.
• A collaborative team player with a proactive and solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
• Qualifications in engineering, commerce, law, QS, or project management.

Responsibilities

• Implement contract management plans and dispute resolution strategies aligned with best practice
• Manage complex commercial negotiations with customers, suppliers, contractors, and partners.
• Drive commercial governance, compliance, and approval processes across project portfolios.
• Manage progress claims, variations, and invoices, ensuring compliance with contractual and legislative requirements
• Develop and maintain commercial frameworks (payment schedules, KPI regimes, risk/reward models)
• Provide strategic advice on procurement, risk allocation, and cost management
• Build collaborative relationships with contractors, suppliers, and client stakeholders
• Mentor and develop commercial and contract management professionals within the business.
