Job summary

BMD Group in Australia is seeking a senior Commercial Leader to drive procurement, cost control and contract governance for a major Tier 1 infrastructure opportunity in South Australia. The role will establish disciplined systems and lead a project commercial team.

You will coordinate interfaces with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors, oversee tender activities and support delivery post-award; relocation to Adelaide is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in commercial and contract management within construction or infrastructure.
• Experience leading a contract administration team.
• Qualifications in law, finance, business, accounting, or related discipline.
• Strong MS Excel and Word skills; GST knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project procurement, finance and cost-control systems.
• Provide commercial leadership through financial reporting and forecasting.
• Lead contract administration and risk management.
• Manage the project commercial team and stakeholder interfaces.
• Support tender and post-tender activities and transition to delivery.
