Job summary

McConnell Dowell Australia is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to join the commercial team delivering the Kwinana Freeway Widening Project in Western Australia. The role focuses on managing subcontractor relationships, protecting the project's commercial position and driving outcomes.

You will be part of an Alliance environment, influencing systems and commercial strategy while collaborating with experienced infrastructure professionals.

Qualifications

  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing subcontractor contracts, claims and variations.
  • Sound understanding of construction contracts and commercial administration principles.

About the Project

The Kwinana Freeway is one of Perth's most critical transport corridors, and we're growing our team to help deliver a major widening project that will improve connectivity, reduce congestion and support the future growth of Western Australia.

This is a landmark infrastructure project that will leave a lasting legacy on Perth's transport network and provide the opportunity to work on a project you'll be proud to have on your CV for years to come.

Delivered through an Alliance model, the project includes complex road, bridge, drainage, rail interface and traffic management works across a major metropolitan transport corridor.

About the Opportunity

McConnell Dowell is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join the commercial team delivering the Kwinana Freeway Widening Project.

Working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Manager and wider delivery team, you will play a critical role in managing subcontractor relationships, protecting the project's commercial position and driving strong commercial outcomes throughout delivery.

This is far more than a traditional contract administration role. You'll join the project during the early stages of delivery and have the opportunity to influence systems, processes and commercial strategy while working alongside some of the industry's most experienced infrastructure professionals.

Key Responsibilities
