Job summary

HKA is recruiting a Commercial and Contract Lead for its Advisory team in Australia, based in Sydney and Brisbane on a hybrid basis. The role blends leadership with delivery, building and developing a team while staying involved in day-to-day project work.

You will lead delivery of engagements, provide strategic guidance across infrastructure portfolios, and oversee contract negotiations, administration, and risk mitigation, including claims and disputes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in commercial and contract management with post-contract delivery experience.
• Front end tendering and early project phase experience desirable.
• Background in professional services, tier-one contracting or major infrastructure across utilities, transport, energy or renewables.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of commercial and contract management engagements.
• Provide strategic commercial guidance to clients across infrastructure portfolios.
• Oversee commercial assessments, contract negotiations and administration.
• Manage claims, disputes and variations within projects.
• Mentor teams and contribute to business development and practice development.
