Job summary

Qantas Airways is seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst for the Digital and Customer Experience team. This full-time role is based at our Head Office in Mascot, Sydney, focusing on commercial performance reporting and insights across Digital and Customer operations.

You will leverage large data sets (SQL/Teradata) to deliver actionable insights, KPIs, and financial modelling, collaborating with senior stakeholders to shape strategic decisions and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualifications, preference for applied statistics or related analytical field
• Experience extracting and manipulating large data volumes with SQL; Teradata preferred
• Experience turning raw data into actionable insights with a track record of success
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with commercial acumen
• Proficiency in Power BI or similar visualization software

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial performance reporting and key analysis to support the Digital and Customer Experience team
• Build and increase operational efficiency across Digital and Customer operations
• Develop and present analytical insights and reports from multiple data sources for strategic decisions
• Monitor KPIs across Digital and Purchase portfolios and align with group strategies
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve commercial outcomes
