Job summary

Sharp & Carter is partnering with a global brand to recruit a Senior Commercial Finance professional in Melbourne. You will join a cross-border ANZ function, close to decision-makers, leading FP&A, budgeting and forecasting across OPEX and CAPEX, and partnering with sales, marketing and operations.

You will build dashboards in SAP/SAC/Power BI, deliver variance analysis, management reporting, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or Finance Business Partnering.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capability.
• Experience with management reporting and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

Our client is a highly regarded global brand with a significant presence across Australia and New Zealand. With an ANZ business generating approximately $400m in turnover, they operate across a complex sales, distribution and commercial environment.

Role

Reporting directly to the Commercial Finance Manager, this is a senior commercial role sitting close to the decisions that drive the business.

You will work across both the Australian and New Zealand operations, partnering with executives, brand teams, sales leaders, go to market teams, IT and broader functional leaders.

The role has a strong focus on commercial analysis, OPEX and CAPEX, planning, forecasting and turning data into insight. More importantly, you will be expected to challenge the business, influence decisions and help leaders understand where performance can improve.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and FP&A across OPEX and CAPEX
• Deliver variance analysis, management reporting and financial modelling
• Provide commercial analysis, insights and decision support to leaders
