Sharp & Carter is seeking a Senior Commercial Accountant to join the finance team for a nationally focused role based in Macquarie Park, Sydney, with 3-4 days in the office. The role partners with senior leaders to deliver accounting expertise, management reporting, and cost insights to drive efficiencies and support growth.

The successful candidate will be CA/CPA qualified, with strong communication and interdepartmental collaboration skills, and experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm is

• CA/CPA-qualified accounting professional with strong communication skills.
• Experience engaging cross-functionally with leadership and operations.
• Background in large or mid-tier firms is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with leadership to provide technical accounting and financial analysis.
• Manage month-end and year-end tasks with timely reporting.
• Provide cost insights and financial tracking for business units.
• Analyse variances, overheads, and spend against budget.
• Maintain internal controls and support warehouse, logistics, and inventory activities.
• Drive process improvements and support ad-hoc CFO projects.
