Sharp & Carter is recruiting a Senior Accountant for a national-scale FMCG/retail client based in Macquarie Park, Sydney. The role focuses on technical accounting, management accounting insight, and financial analysis to support informed decision-making and cost efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will be CA/CPA qualified with strong communication skills and experience from a Big 4 or Mid-Tier firm is advantageous. Hybrid work available with 1–2 days WFH.

Qualifikationen

• CA/CPA qualified accounting professional required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Big 4 or Mid-Tier experience advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Month-end and year-end tasks, including reporting and analysis.
• Partner with business units to provide cost insights and financial reports.
• Analyse actual vs budget/forecast variances and advise.
• Maintain internal controls and support finance processes and inventories.
• Investigate reconciliation variances and drive process improvements.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects directed by CFO and Finance team.
