Job summary

Expertech is urgently seeking a Senior commercetools Developer for a 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential to go permanent. You will work on backend-focused tasks in a modern composable commerce setting, developing and integrating solutions across commercetools, Node.js, APIs, and backend services, including BFF layers and Vercel.

You’ll handle complex ecommerce integrations for both B2B and B2C, with remote work available from anywhere in Australia.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial software development experience in ecommerce/digital commerce.
• Hands-on commercetools experience desirable; other ecommerce platforms ok.
• Experience designing APIs and backend integrations.
• Experience building Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layers.
• Experience with Vercel and modern cloud-based architectures.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, distributed systems and integration patterns.
• Ability to work independently and own technical outcomes.
• Australian residency and eligible working rights.
• Experience with React and Next.js.
