Job summary

Pinaka is seeking a Senior Services Engineer at the Land Network Integration Centre in Symonston, ACT. The role focuses on system integration, testing, and assurance of complex mission systems across security boundaries.

You will work in a small specialist team, mentor staff, provide Level 3 support, and engage with Defence partners to resolve integration issues. Applicants must be an Australian citizen with NV2 clearance and be onsite.

Qualifications

• This is a level 3 position; applicants must meet level 3–Advanced Practitioner requirements.
• Experience engineering and integrating complex ICT systems across requirements analysis, interface management, and verification.
• Experience sustaining enterprise applications and information system environments with data services and supporting infrastructure.
• Must implement security controls per ISM and Essential Eight.
• Strong LAN/WAN engineering knowledge including IP addressing, routing, DNS, DHCP, and network segmentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain authoritative system design and architecture documentation.
• Engage Defence ICT and stakeholders to align implemented systems with architectural intent.
• Deliver technical training and mentor personnel.
• Provide Level 3 technical support and routine maintenance of systems.
• Participate in project test, evaluation and risk reduction events.
• Perform configuration management of hardware, software and artefacts.
• Conduct technical integration testing prior to updates or releases.
• Develop CIS technical documentation for Joint and Coalition activities.
