North Queensland Hardfacing (NQHF) is seeking highly experienced CNC Machinists to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will ensure CNC machinery is in good working order, run programs, conduct tests and inspections, and maintain documentation.

The role requires trade qualifications and 5+ years of CNC experience, with proficiency in reading drawings, troubleshooting, and working with multi-torch plasma and oxy cutting processes.

Qualificações

• Trade qualifications and +5 years relevant experience.
• Excellent level of experience in CNC machine operation including profile cutting and drilling.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and diagrammed instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Values precision and enforces quality standards.
• Multi-torch, plasma and oxy cutting experience.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure CNC machinery is in good working order before set up.
• Work with both software and hardware, conduct tests and inspections of products, services and software systems, and repair faulty programs and machinery.
• Conduct all programming as required or instructed.
• Operate all equipment ensuring machinery runs to maximum efficiency and documentation is completed.
• Ensure cost-efficient use of plate, liaising with programmers where necessary.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and uniformity to uphold quality.
