Job summary

HUB24 is seeking a Senior Cloud & Systems Engineer to design, build and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across GCP and AWS. You will lead technical delivery, establish IaC standards and mentor engineers while collaborating with Architecture, Security, DevOps and Network teams.

You’ll contribute to AI and automation initiatives, modernise CI/CD and runbooks, and support deployments and incident response with after-hours support when needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT experience with 5+ years in engineering roles.
• Strong production engineering with GCP and/or AWS, deep GCP capability.
• Advanced hands-on Terraform experience (modules, state, pipelines).
• Solid knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, security and identity.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
• Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Harness).
• Experience with monitoring, observability, logging and alerting.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure across GCP/AWS, primary focus on GCP.
• Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules and IaC across environments.
• Lead technical delivery, reviews, design and planning.
• Establish cloud, IaC and engineering standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud, networking, security, infra issues.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and infra automation.
• Document architecture, runbooks, procedures.
