Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, build and operate cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, driving automation, reliability and operational excellence across our environments.

You will implement GCP networking, create CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, support data pipelines, collaborate with Java, Python, data, QA and business teams, and participate in architecture discussions to improve security and scalability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps experience in production
• Strong CI/CD and automation skills
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform in production
• Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate cloud infrastructure on GCP
• Implement and maintain GCP networking (VPC, firewalls, load balancers)
• Automate provisioning and environment setup
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins
• Support data pipelines with monitoring and incident response
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable smooth delivery
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions and planning
• Improve reliability, scalability and security across cloud environments
