Job summary

Sportsbet is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our Melbourne team. You will build automated security capabilities across vulnerability management, detection engineering, incident response, IAM and network security, while partnering with Tech and Product teams to embed security from design through deployment.

This role is hands-on, with strong emphasis on scalable cloud solutions, security tooling, and mentoring others to uplift the broader security capability across Sportsbet.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS experience designing and deploying secure cloud solutions.
• Strong Python development with OO programming.
• Experience in vulnerability management, incident response, IAM and network security.
• Ability to document and communicate technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and automate scalable cloud security solutions in AWS.
• Guide security decisions with Cloud, CyberSec and Development teams.
• Develop self-service capabilities for secure deployments at scale.
• Provide guidance on security principles and cloud architecture.
• Mentor others and uplift cloud security across the tech community.
