People Connect ICT Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer for an Australian Government opportunity in Canberra, requiring Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) clearance or eligibility. Candidate must be proficient in EventBridge, SNS, SQS, Step Functions, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK), CI/CD pipelines,

Qualifications

Hands-on AWS experience developing cloud-native applications.
Strong experience with REST APIs, microservices and integration services.
Experience with event-driven and serverless architectures.
Proficiency with EventBridge, SNS, SQS and Step Functions.
Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
Experience with unit, integration and automated testing.
Knowledge of cloud security, governance and operational requirements.
Experience in production support, troubleshooting and incident resolution.

Responsibilities
