Job summary
A growing Australian IT consultancy is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to work on a greenfield project for 12 months. The role involves cloud architecture and engineering, cross-cloud integration, and implementing DevSecOps practices. Candidates should have a strong background in AWS and GCP, with experience in security operations and automation. Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in technology/engineering, with 3+ years in senior cloud roles.
- Strong experience in AWS and GCP.
- Hands-on with serverless technologies and CI/CD.
- Knowledge in IAM and security best practices.
- Certifications are a plus (AWS or GCP).
Responsibilities
- Implement reference designs across AWS and GCP.
- Design and operate cross-cloud integration patterns.
- Manage web infrastructure, including DNS and CloudFront.
- Create automated CI/CD pipelines with security measures.
- Conduct daily cloud posture reviews and manage access governance.
- Implement observability with metrics and logging.
