Energy Exemplar is seeking an Energy Market Analyst (Support) for the APAC region. You will deliver technical and product support across our SaaS/Cloud and Desktop offerings, guiding customers on modelling and optimisation challenges and driving long-term success.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to onboarding, training, and product improvements, and grow your expertise in PLEXOS and energy markets within a flexible, globally distributed team.

Formación

• Strong interest in energy market modelling and optimisation, with exposure to modelling tools such as PLEXOS, Aurora, BID3, GAMS.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages (Python, VBA, SQL).
• 1-3 years in the energy industry, with understanding of energy economics, electricity markets, or generation/transmission operations.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate complex issues and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Excellent customer-facing communication, ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Experience troubleshooting across cloud/desktop environments and guiding customers to resolution.
• Tertiary qualification in a related quantitative discipline is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide timely, accurate technical support to customers of Energy Exemplar’s SaaS/Desktop products.
• Own support cases from investigation to resolution, with proper prioritisation.
• Troubleshoot SaaS/Cloud and Desktop issues including cloud connectivity challenges.
• Offer modelling guidance to help customers apply product capabilities effectively.
• Collaborate with Account Management for onboarding and ongoing engagement in APAC.
• Work with Product and Development to feedback issues and contribute to QA.
• Deliver online and onsite training, develop learning materials and knowledge resources.
• Create practical tools and examples to help customers use Energy Exemplar products.
• Maintain knowledge of APAC energy markets and industry trends to provide informed support.
