Job summary

ZSoft Technologies Pty Ltd in Canberra invites senior Cloud Architects and Cloud Engineers to design, implement and guide enterprise-scale Azure and M365 solutions across multidisciplinary teams. You will drive architectures, security, and integration efforts for government cloud initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Azure cloud roles, hands-on DevOps and IaC experience, and the ability to obtain Baseline security clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Azure cloud architecture / engineering experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure & M365.
• Experience designing and implementing App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, API Management.
• Experience with Azure Networking, Entra ID, RBAC and Key Vault.
• Experience with IaC, CI/CD and deployment automation.
• Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise and solution-level cloud architectures across Microsoft Azure and M365.
• Design and implement Azure solutions using App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Service Bus, API Management and related cloud services.
• Provide architecture and engineering guidance across Azure networking, security and identity (Entra ID, VNet, Private Endpoints, RBAC, Key Vault).
• Develop and support cloud automation, IaC, Azure DevOps repositories, CI/CD pipelines, testing and deployment practices.
• Design integrations between Azure services, third-party platforms and Dynamics 365, with monitoring via Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Work with Agile teams, provide technical leadership and ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and Whole-of-Government standards.

Senior Cloud Architect / Cloud Engineers - Azure & M365 with Baseline Clearance-Canberra/Hybrid

We are seeking experienced Senior Cloud Architects and Cloud Engineers to support the delivery of major Federal Government cloud and digital transformation initiatives.

The successful candidates will design, implement and guide enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure and M365 solutions, working with multidisciplinary teams across architecture, engineering, security, applications and business delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design enterprise and solution-level cloud architectures across Microsoft Azure and M365, translating business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.
• Design and implement Azure solutions using App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Service Bus, API Management and related cloud services.
• Provide architecture and engineering guidance across Azure networking, security and identity, including Entra ID, Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, RBAC and Key Vault.
• Develop and support cloud automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Azure DevOps repositories, CI/CD pipelines, testing and deployment practices.
• Design integrations between Azure services, third-party platforms and Microsoft Dynamics 365, supported by monitoring through Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Work across multidisciplinary Agile teams, providing technical leadership, architecture guidance and mentoring while ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture, security and Whole-of-Government standards.
