Job summary

Green Light Worldwide is seeking an experienced cloud architect to develop enterprise cloud architectures for MS Azure and M365 from our Canberra office. The role requires baseline clearance and supports a hybrid setup with an immediate start.

You will guiding cloud engineers, align solutions with stakeholder goals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud-based systems. The position offers on-site Canberra work with flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering cloud-based solutions using Azure services.
• Ability to align cloud architectures with stakeholder requirements.
• Proven track record in integrating cloud systems with third-party apps.
• Experience with CI/CD and IaC practices.
• Security and identity management in Azure.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise level cloud platform architectures for MS Azure and M365.
• Develop high level solution architectures for cloud-based systems.
• Develop detailed architecture guidance for cloud engineers.
• Provide technical guidance and input into the design and build of cloud-based systems.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams including business owners, scrum masters, business analysts, developers, enterprise architects & testers to produce solutions per requirements.
• Liaise with the department’s Service Experience team to ensure architectural decisions incorporate user experience considerations.
• Liaise with ICT Engagement and Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment to target architectures and technology.
• Provide expertise in platform automation – testing, CI/CD, and deployment.
• Promote enterprise architecture principles – reuse before buy/build, configure over customize, open data/access over siloed functionality

Requirements

• Cloud experience: Demonstrated experience in cloud-based solution implementation with technologies including:
• Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus and Azure API Management
• Azure DevOps for code development, management, repositories, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD deployments
• Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor and Application Insights
• Integrating cloud-based systems with third-party systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM o Azure networking, security and identity management capabilities including Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints and Role Based Access Control
