Job summary

The Department of Industry, Science and Resources (DISR) seeks experienced Cloud Engineers/Architects with 5+ years in cloud delivery to shape enterprise cloud architectures across MS Azure and M365. You will guide cross-functional teams, ensure WoG standards, and contribute to platform automation and secure, scalable cloud solutions.

Proven skills in Azure DevOps, Dynamics 365 CRM integration, and strong stakeholder collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in cloud-based solution implementation with technologies including Azure DevOps for code development, management, repositories, IaC and CI/CD deployments.
• Integrating cloud-based systems with third-party systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
• Azure networking, security and identity management capabilities including Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints and RBAC.
• Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical staff at all levels.
• Ability to collaborate and mentor team members to promote team harmony.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise level cloud platform architectures for MS Azure and M365.
• Develop high level solution architectures for cloud-based systems.
• Develop detailed architecture guidance for cloud engineers.
• Provide impact analysis of user/stakeholder requirements.
• Ensure adherence to whole-of-government standards for enterprise and system solutions.
• Provide technical guidance into design and build of cloud-based systems.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to produce solutions aligned with stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
• Ensure alignment to target architectures and technology with ICT Engagement and Enterprise Architecture.
• Provide expertise in platform automation – testing, CI/CD and deployment.
• Promote enterprise architecture principles like re-use over buy/build, and open data access over siloed functionality.
• Promote alignment with the DTA’s Digital Service Standard.
• Be strategic, a leader and influencer.
