Job summary

The CIO Group is seeking experienced Cloud Engineers/Architects to deliver enterprise cloud architectures on MS Azure and M365 for the Department of Industry, Science and Resources in Canberra. You will craft high-level solution architectures, guide cloud engineers, and ensure alignment with whole-of-government standards.

Applicants should have 5+ years of cloud experience, security clearance, and proven leadership within cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in cloud-based architectures and delivery.
• Security clearance: Baseline clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with cross-functional teams to develop and manage enterprise and application-level architectures for MS Azure.
• Provide impact analysis and technical guidance in design and development of project work aligned with WoG Standards.
• Promote enterprise architecture principles, reuse over build, and open data access.
• Lead and influence teams, mentor members, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Ensure cloud platform automation, CI/CD, testing, and deployment practices.
• Collaborate with ICT Engagement and Enterprise Architecture to align to target architectures.
