Job summary

The University of Queensland is seeking a Senior Clinical Trials Coordinator at the UQ Clinical Trials Centre. The role coordinates central trial management across multi-site studies, ensuring governance, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout the trial lifecycle.

Based at the Herston campus, you will work in a collaborative team to support investigator-initiated trials, manage trial documentation, and contribute to professional growth within a high-performing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have tertiary qualifications in Health, Science or Project Management (or equivalent).
• Experience coordinating multi-centre randomised clinical trials from start to finish with ICH-GCP compliance.
• Strong knowledge of clinical research methodologies, data management, data integrity and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent project and resource management, able to prioritise and meet milestones in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience budgeting, monitoring and reporting and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain project plans, agreements and essential trial documentation (ethics submissions, protocols, CRFs, TMF).
• Support multi-site trial start-up, site initiation and monitoring with audit-ready documentation and governance compliance.
• Monitor milestones, assist with recruitment, data collection, budgeting and trial reporting.
• Build strong relationships with investigators, sites and stakeholders to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
