Job summary

Home Care Assistance is seeking a Clinical, Quality & Compliance Manager to provide leadership on governance, quality and risk across the organisation, supporting high quality, client-focused home-based aged care.

The role leads governance meetings, develops training programs, manages incidents and compliance, and reports to the Executive Team and Board, with travel across regions as needed.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Qualification in Quality, Clinical Governance, Healthcare Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in quality, compliance, clinical governance or accreditation functions in healthcare.
• Experience managing incidents, complaints and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership on clinical governance, quality, compliance and risk management across the organisation.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and consumer-centred care.
• Lead Clinical Governance Meetings and support governance committees, reference groups and advisory bodies.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for the Executive Team, Board and governance committees.
• Ensure Quality and Compliance Advisory Bodies operate in accordance with their Terms of Reference.
• Develop and deliver clinical and compliance training programs.
• Lead the organisation's clinical governance framework and maintain oversight of clinical quality and safety systems.
• Provide expert advice on clinical issues, care delivery standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor clinical performance indicators and identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Audit and continuous improvement of project management capability.
• Project reports clearly identify issues, objectives and suggestions for improvements.
