Job summary

Latrobe Regional Health is seeking a Clinical Educator - Psychology to join the Education team on a full-time basis (1.0 EFT) for a 12-month fixed-term parental leave cover. The role leads clinical education, supervision, and workforce development for psychologists, registrars, and students, while fostering evidence-based practice across mental health services.

The successful candidate will have extensive post-registration experience, AHPRA registration, and strong leadership and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Fully registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• 10+ years of post-registration practice with expertise in assessment, intervention, and evidence-based therapies.
• Experience in clinical education, supervision, and workforce development for psychologists, registrars, students, and multidisciplinary professionals.
• Strong leadership, influence on practice, and capability to drive quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, coordination, and delivery of clinical education, supervision, and professional development programs for psychologists, registrars, and students.
• Provide expert clinical supervision, mentoring, and guidance to support professional growth and evidence-based practice.
• Coordinate psychology student placements, registrar training pathways, and partnerships with universities and external education providers.
• Plan and deliver psychological education programs for multidisciplinary clinicians, peers, carers, families, community agencies, schools, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, policy implementation, and compliance with relevant legislation and best-practice frameworks.
• Support a culture of continuous learning, professional excellence, innovation, and service improvement.
