Base Salary Range: ASO4 | $82,212 - $86,180 p.a ASO3 | $74,095 - $78,694 p.a Appointment classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.

About the Role:

You will provide timely and accurate clinical coding services, translating medical and procedural information into ICD-10-AM and ACHI classifications. You will contribute to the production of quality coded clinical data used for reporting, statistical analysis, health service planning and activity-based funding. Working within the FUNLHN team, you will apply strong attention to detail and coding knowledge to ensure accurate, compliant and high-quality outcomes.

About You:

Relevant clinical coding qualifications, with requirements aligned to ASO3 or ASO4 classification. Demonstrated competency and accuracy in ICD-10-AM coding, with knowledge of ACHI and relevant coding standards. Strong analytical, organisational and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to interpret complex clinical information. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines. Previous clinical coding experience, with hospital or health service experience highly desirable.
