Job summary

Sa-Health in Far North is seeking a Patient Services Officer to provide confidential administrative and customer service support as part of the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network. This 0.5 FTE, part-time ASO2 role offers pro rata pay and a supportive team environment.

You will contribute to a welcoming patient experience, data entry and clerical support across the health service, within a region offering lifestyle balance and community focus.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and a professional approach.
  • High level computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Experience providing administrative support and developing spreadsheets in Excel.

About the Role

You will provide high-quality, confidential administrative, customer service and data entry support to clients, staff and visitors of the health service. Working as part of a team, you will assist with a range of clerical and administrative tasks while providing a welcoming, helpful and professional service to patients and the community.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse clients, staff and community members.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a helpful, professional approach when supporting clients.
  • High level computer literacy, with sound word processing, data entry and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and cooperative workplace.
  • Experience providing administrative and clerical support, including developing spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
