Job summary

Insight Timer, the world’s largest meditation and wellbeing community, seeks a Senior Clinical AI Engineer to design and ship AI-powered experiences at global scale. You’ll bridge software engineering with clinical reasoning, collaborating with research teams, product, and backend engineers to ensure safety, evidence-informed decisions, and reliable performance.

You will translate research concepts into practical product requirements, build robust workflows, and continuously improve AI

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with production AI agents, LLMs, or AI-powered workflows.
• Strong Python fundamentals and backend systems experience.
• Hands-on with agent frameworks, orchestration, evaluation, prompts, retrieval, or LLM app architecture.
• Formal training or applied expertise in psychology, medicine, neuroscience, digital health, or wellbeing science.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship production-grade AI agents for wellbeing domains.
• Develop agentic workflows with reliability and clinical reasoning.
• Integrate AI agents with backend APIs, data/content systems, and product surfaces.
• Build evaluation, testing, and monitoring systems for safety and quality.
• Define clinical/wellbeing evaluation rubrics for AI outputs.
