Job summary

Construction and Remediation Advisory Services Pty Ltd in Surry Hills seeks an experienced Project Manager to join our client-side team. You will manage a portfolio of projects, reporting to Senior Project Managers and the Head of Project Management, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and to high quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years as a Client-side Project Manager, a degree in Project Management or Civil Engineering, and proven leadership with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years as Client-side Project Manager (Mandatory)
• Degree/Qualification in Project Management or Civil Engineering
• Solid knowledge of project management processes and lifecycle
• Strong organisational and leadership skills with mentoring/supervisory experience
• Proficiency in multidisciplinary design management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Proficiency in project management software and tools

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of projects, some independently and some with support from assistant PMs
• Report to Senior Project Managers and the Head of Project Management
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to high quality standards
• Work closely with clients, stakeholders, contractors and consultants to achieve objectives
• Prepare and present project documentation (delivery plans, risk assessments, minutes, progress reports, RFT packages)
• Drive project success by aligning with client requirements and industry best practices
• Foster strong relationships to enable repeat business opportunities
• Coordinate tender processes, consultant and contractor selections, and contract administration
• Monitor compliance with regulations and standards; manage WHS, QA and environmental assurance
• Identify and manage project risks; resolve issues to maintain momentum
• Undertake site inspections and record construction progress
• Liaise with Local and State government agencies
• Contribute to proposals and tenders
