Job summary

Amida Recruitment in Sydney is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our forward-thinking, professional project management consultancy. You will lead projects from design through delivery, coordinating with clients, consultants and authorities.

Experience delivering health sector projects is highly valued; projects up to $30m, with involvement from feasibility to handover. Candidates may come from client-side, main contractor or consulting engineering backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• High level interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport at all levels.
• Experience working within a team environment and cross-functional collaboration.
• Advanced computer literacy including MS Excel and related tools.
• Prior client-side project management experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Client management and consultation.
• Project planning and feasibility studies.
• Design management and liaison with authorities for DA submission.
• Risk management and value engineering.
• Procurement of construction services.
• Cost control, cost reporting and superintendent of construction delivery.
• Commissioning and post-contract duties for handover.
• Oversee and deliver the project from start to finish.
