Job summary

Keystone Civil in Geelong is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee civil infrastructure projects from planning through completion. You will lead project teams, coordinate subcontractors and stakeholders, and ensure delivery is safe, on time and within budget.

You will mentor engineers, manage program budgets, identify and mitigate risks, own scheduling, and drive procurement, QC/QA and HSEQ compliance while fostering strong client and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing complex civil construction projects.
• Strong understanding of civil construction techniques and specification requirements.
• Strong understanding of HSEQ best practice.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Great time management skills, with the ability to manage budgets and track production.
• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and hold accountable project engineers, site engineers, graduate engineers and the delivery team.
• Mentor and develop direct and indirect reports to build capability and performance.
• Manage project Profit & Loss, budgets, costs and productivity.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Own project scheduling, ensuring programs are tracked and aligned with critical paths and milestones.
• Monitor contractual entitlements and manage program slippage.
• Lead procurement activities for assigned projects.
• Oversee QC/QA and HSEQ compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Drive a positive team culture aligned with Keystone's values.
